untitled #6
In the garden where our laughter bloomed, I tended each flower, but silence consumed, The whispers of joy turned to shadows of pain, In the echoes of love, only heartache remained. You spoke of forever, yet wandered away, Left me to gather the shards of the day, With every "I love you" that fell from your lips, I stitched up my heart with the thread of your slips. Trust, once a fortress, is now just a ghost, Haunting the chambers where we loved the most, Each promise you broke, like a leaf in the breeze, Left scars on my spirit that struggle to heal. You painted your absence with hues of regret, But I’m learning to cherish the lessons I’ve met, With courage, I rise from the ruins of us, For every dark chapter ignites a new trust. So here in the silence, I reclaim my voice, In the depths of my sorrow, I shall find my choice, To love once again, though the road may be rough, I’ll mend this heart slowly; I’m made of strong stuff. You left me, it’s true, with a heart full of ache, But the beauty of love is the strength we create, From the ashes of what was, new dreams will take flight, I’ll bloom once again, in the soft morning light.
