The hurt, pain, anger, sadness kept all inside The mask I've created just so I can hide That little girl inside me screaming please let me out I've silenced her for so long no one hears her shout The pain and hurt she has endured never should have been It's made it nearly impossible for me to let anyone in I've been my own protector for as long as I can recall We've all heard the fairytales but prince charming doesn't save us after all I have had to pull myself from the lowest of my lows I believe it just makes me that much stronger and braver and it shows However even the strongest have to break at times That time for me is now I am no longer fine I must help that little girl screaming please let me out!!!! She's been so afraid and alone and silenced far to long she can no longer even shout
