Some days, it's all too much The noise, the rush, the need to be “enough" I smile, I nod, I move along, But inside, it feels all wrong I try to breathe, to take it slow, But thoughts keep pulling me below The weight I carry, none can see It's quiet, heavy, pressing me I wish I could pause without guilt I wish I could say “I’m tired” without shame I carry so much, quietly like it’s my job to hold it all I cheer for others, but struggle to whisper, “You’re doing okay,” to myself I forgive their flaws, but punish mine on repeat Some days, I want to disappear just long enough to breathe Not to run, not to quit just to rest I’m tired, but I’m still here I wipe my face, I fight the fear And even when I break or bend, I remind myself: this isn’t the end But I’m trying And maybe, that counts for something
