And I lay there on the sand My blood soaks into the grains The waves do not leave me be I am not left alone peacefully by the sea They climb up my waist And rinse me of my blood Just for it to be replaced Since my open wound is large A crater underneath my left arm And the crater lacks a heart It now residing in the belly… of a shark
