Unstable Ships and Baggages
Lost in the sea, with only some baggage with me, What once I thought a magnificent ship, sank down merely by a rock, Never thought it had stabbed the ship, deep down its core. Alone and cold, now, in a lone boat with baggages only weighing me down But what can I do? They're all I have to care about. Moments of desperation and an attack of panic, I held the hand that I first saw in my blurry hazy view. Happiness bloomed within, a sudden gush of relief, Sharing my baggages, huh, a foolish thought indeed. I opened them to share, innocent and oblivious, But I heard; "Those are nothing but trash!", My baggages were thrown out, then my blood ran cold. I heard a glass shatter, yet there was no glass around, Feeling lost more than ever, questioning; "What am I to be now?" I boarded another unstable ship in the midst of despair, What once I thought a saviour, was a bored pirate, looking for entertainment to share. This ship will sink eventually, I know they know, And shall I drown with it, hoping that my remains will find its way to what it really lost. poem by XMCT
