Unspoken
My reticence burns in the darkness, The echoes of things left unsaid. I painted your soul on my paper, But ink is the only thing left. I should have known how it would end, This bridge was a dream on a wall. To be naive is a lesson so hard, But I’m still waiting for you to call. It’s strange to feel and to sense it, The walls that you build to stay wise. But words aren't needed to find it The truth is right there in your eyes. I’m losing control, I am powerless, When I look ahead, it is true I see an angel before me, As I'm standing in front of you.
