Unsettled mind, Lost heart
All of a sudden, my heart no longer feels safe with you. My body is rejecting what once came so easily—the power you had to soothe the desolate parts of me. Now, you have involuntarily lost your grip on me sexually, emotionally, and mentally. Your words and actions once aligned, and I naturally became submissive. But the words you use now have torn a veil through what I thought was impenetrable, like the firmament itself. My mind is racing. My heart is pounding. Your lack of boundaries, coupled with the hurtful words you used—calling me immature for reacting to how your actions made me feel—has left my heart feeling unsafe. My nervous system is overstimulated. You have not lost me yet, but that may very well become the case. Your presence no longer feels like home. I miss my safe place. I miss what once felt like home.
