Unseen scars
We struggle, paving our way to the grave Working life long, till our final rest Troubles stain, troubles pain Scars accumulate, flaws embarrass. In this ruthless world, we search for a place To hide our scars, to conceal our flaws' trace We cling to hope, a glimmer of light To guide us through the darkness of night. Our demons haunt us, in the dead of night When fears and doubts come flooding in like a fight But still we stand, though torn and weak And find the strength to face another bleak. We're lost, rootless, in this endless sea Trying to find our way, our destiny We're chasing dreams, we're chasing fame But often find ourselves in the same old game. We're trying to escape the pain we've known But it's hard to let go, hard to move on We're carrying weights, we're carrying scars But still we rise, like stars in the dark Our hearts are heavy, our souls are worn But we keep on moving, till the dawn is born And in the light, we find our way To a new day, a new life, a new way And through it all, we hold on tight To the hope that guides us through the night And we believe, with all our might that, "hope" is more than just a dream. _JM Pluto_
