unseen affections
### Unseen Affections Why do I fall for faces I've never laid eyes, In dreams and in whispers, they spark and they rise? I craft tender stories, in my heart they reside, Yet know all too well that they're shadows inside. I weave them from longing, from hope, and from fear, Expecting their love, though they’re never quite here. I question my worth, this “ugly” I claim, Yet yearn for connection, to feel love's sweet flame. These strangers in dreams hold my heart in their hands, While reality whispers, “It's all just a chance.” But deep in my core, a desire persists, To find beauty in love, even if it’s just mist.
