Unruly Mind 💐
Oh, fragile keepers of the grandest thought, Yet slaves to whims so swiftly wrought, We dream in fire, we burn in vain, Yet seldom master our own brain. A tempest wild, our minds do spin, A ceaseless storm that howls within, Chained by fears, by fleeting schemes, Torn asunder by our dreams. A monarch weak, upon his throne, Commanding lands he’s never known, So are we—majestic fools, Bound by chaos, bound by rules. We reach for stars with trembling hands, Yet drown in tides we misunderstand, Wander lost through dusk-lit halls, Answering the siren’s calls. Yet in this storm, some light is cast, A moment fierce, a thought steadfast, A spark that shatters doubt’s domain— The fleeting reign of the human brain.
