Unrequited love
In shadows deep, the heart does dwell, A love unspoken - none can tell, A secret bloom, a hidden fire, In depths of the heart's desire. He walks the world - a distant star, Unreachable, but not so far, His presence - like a fleeting dream, A distant, unattainable gleam. I watch from afar, in silence - pine, A love unreturned, a love undefined, Like a bird, that longs to touch the sky, My heart yearns for a love that shall not die. But in my solitude, my grace - I find, A love that dwells in a hidden place, Though unrequited - a love so true, For in my heart, forever grew. A love unspoken, a silent prayer, In the stillness of the quiet air - I'll cherish it, this love untamed, In the shadows, it shall remain.
