(Un)Requited Love
Deep at night, I start to think About what we could've been. Maybe I should've just told you About all the love that I grew. Sometimes I think you could love me too, But it states clear, you can't love me like I do. So many jokes made me think it was true, But you just can't love me like I want you to. I'm starting to obsess over those few texts, And now I'm growing addicted to your effects. I love how your embrace starts to kill me, And how your cute face starts to poison me. I think of your love as if I deserve it, But maybe one day I will be worth it. I'll be worth your time, I'll be worth your shine, I'll be worth your while, And your beautiful smile. Everyday I get more confused, Because I can't tell if I'm being used. If your love is true, See, I have no clue, Please just tell me now, I do not care how. Swore that when I saw you I would tell you, my love, But you held me close, and called me beloved. Do you know what that means? Is it all as it seems? I shake and ask, will there be a better choice? Will someone make me happier than your voice? Who would love you like I never could? Who could love me like you never would?
