Unmoored
Emptiness enfolds me, a soothing shroud A world erased, where silence is allowed No footsteps echo, no voices pierce the air I am a ghost, invisible, without a care In this vacuum, I find a strange reprieve A freedom from the weight of others' leave No eyes upon me, no hands to hold or claim I am unmoored, a solitary figure, without a name The stillness is a balm, a healing mist That soothes my soul, and calms my every twist I am alone, yet in this isolation, I am free A leaf on the wind, untethered, wild, and carefree.
