I know my life means nothing to you but one day I'll make that change You know when our eyes meet there was a spark almost a flame Old flames can be extinguished and put out with out no sweat but memories more distinguished are not easy to forget I don't expect or feel the need to fill the void inside you What you perceive you will receive but take heed for it will blind you You're so enwrapped inside yourself you can even call it vain You have a talent for survival so you really can't complain For those who should know better I guess old habits are hard to break So i guess that puts us back to square one where a woman decides your fate Infamously known like the catcher in the rye these women can be snakes and the apple of your eye It seems to me in all your desire in making me the burden that there's more skeletons in your closet and deep inside you're hurting But all is fair in love and war it's only a matter of time when two sides collide don't be so surprised besides you were well worth it Please excuse my candor I'm just speaking in defense I ask you for forgiveness I implore it with reverence
