Unheard melodies
Feel what you can touch, taste the bittersweet, See what they show, a veil upon the heart, Go where they leave, in shadows we meet. My life is a leaf, drifting apart, Which fell from the tree, once green and bold, I cry and cry, tears as works of art. Maybe they will hear and come, behold But no one did, silence like a knife, Unheard melodies, tales left untold.
