Ungubani (who are you)
With my dignity stripped away from me who could I be? Introduced myself to versions of me they seem to see. With my wings clipped off I could no longer be an angel. Dried out in the sun my sorrows shunned upon as they loosely dangel. Clearly I have fallen lower than the rock bottom. I'm watching pieces of me float away like the leaves in autumn. It's a slow climb but I'm slowing down to take in my surroundings. I hardened my heart for the upcoming houndings. I keep finding tainted pieces of me scattered around! It's hard to handle but I'll pick the pieces from the ground. It's who I am I can't run away from the man mirror. One can never be a saint without admitting to being a sinner. People come and go I'll just stay true to the girl in the mirror.
