Unfinished Words
There are words I leave unspoken, Pausing at the edge of my breathe. Not silence, but something sharper, A weight that doesn's sink—just stays. You speak and the air turns heavy, Twisting, dragging, out of place. I hear it, but I do not listen, Some songs are not worth the tune. I do not chase, I do not wait, A puzzle I do not care to solve I do not turn when you enter Nor pause when you call my name. Not anger, not love—just distance, A space where its all empty. Your presence means nothing to me, And that's exactly where we stay.
