Unexpected pain

Loving you was the easiest choice I've ever done, now, I am not so sure. Just the mere thought of you brings a different type of pain in my heart. Who would've thought that loving you would bring an unexpected pain. Who would've thought that you would break your promise of protecting my heart. Who would've thought that you will shatter my heart to pieces. I still love you, but I don't know if I have the patience to wait for your decision. Thinking about you used to bring butterflies in my stomach, but now, all it does is bring me heartache.
