Undiscovered Treasure
Am I worthless? Am I still not good enough? Or is it just that I’m not valued and appreciated well enough? Trying to be the best among the best was tough. No one knows that the path to where I am right now was rough. Not even my family, nor any of my friends— It’s just me who kept running in this race with no end. I gave my all until the end. I wish I had realized it earlier, but it's too late; I've already put down my defense. It was never as easy as others may have thought. They don’t even know how hard I fought. For them, it is just a matter of luck—then boom, jackpot. I wanted to explore the world and embrace the real me, but I cannot. Sometimes I wonder why they act like they are blind, But then it hit me—it is all because I’m just a shadow left behind. I did everything, picked up every piece, always keeping my passion in mind, But my passion was far different from the task you had assigned. I’m not going to wonder why anymore. When I did what they wanted, I lost my interest in everything. Still, everything I do for them feels like nothing. I don’t have time for myself, unlike other teenagers doing their own thing. I will prove to everyone that I can go far beyond, Flying and thriving with my own wings.
