Under God, Not Above
I don’t want a man who thinks he’s divine, I want a man who walks God’s line. One who knows his strength, his breath, his days, All come from Christ, not ego or praise. I love God boldly, I stand secure, My faith is loud, my heart is sure. So if you find me, know this truth: I won’t shrink my faith to fit your youth. I want a man who tries his best To live like Jesus, pass the test. Not playing God, not wearing crowns, But washing feet on holy ground. Let him pray with fire, lead with grace, Seek God’s heart before my face. A man who knows that love means loss, And chooses sacrifice like the cross. I am proud of the path I walk each day, Kept by God, led His way. So stand beside me, humble, strong, With God above us all along. If you won’t bow where I remain, If pride is god and self is gain, Then you are not the one I seek— I choose a man who’s Christ-rooted, not just weak. ☆MINENTLE MAPOSA☆
