UNCOUTH AFFECTION
I wonder why I have to feel this same way all over again The feeling, unrefined, unprocessed unprecedented, worst of all untameable and sad still seemingly unattainable I'm not sure which of the controversial questions to answer Why I feel the way I feel, Or why I feel the way I feel for whom I feel the way I feel It's funny yet frustrating, when love is made to seem like poison to the skin Just because time and tide makes it seem like an inordinate scheme or maybe perhaps It Is me who is just not brave perhaps I'm just not brave to own true to what is true The heart always wants, what the heart wants Even if whatever the heart wants always makes the heart hurt what the heart wants is sometimes agreeably worth fighting for But this thing the heart wants, is it worth dying for? The more the questions the more the controversy This affection is conclusively a turbulent sea Hard as it may be I must admit, it is slowly drowning me
