uncomfortable silence

it's not my fault we ended it's been your fault since the beginning I expressed my thoughts you laughed them off now that it's over I can't believe that it is I thought you were forever now there's that silence anytime we meet that silence is always the first to greet smiling faces, neither really happy each want to be farthest away from the other I feel it so I know you do too everyone told me to give up on being friends again I told them not a chance I really wished I listened then I wouldn't feel like the bad guy because everyday I wonder why why do you let that silence sit why do you not care one bit I've moved on now I don't give a shit so let's let that uncomfortable silence sit
