Unclaimed, Unyielding
There once stood fire, None ever saw it roar. I observed the other flames from afar, Raging in the dark. The fire wasn't conjured, It was forged; not by a man. Men stares at the forest's light Didn't dare dare go towards it. The fire once fought to kindle, Now, Burns quiet Many dawns broke, Many songs faded, The fire still withstood He watched the other fires But did not follow He did not spread But still lingered in silence. The fire still abides in the dense forest, an untold story remains. As yet unclaimed the forest, Nor yielded to ashes. ©Navya Anadkat
