Uncertainty
Uncertainty I want to write a poem, but the words won't come. There's weight in my chest— a feeling I can't name. Hollow. Sometimes close to pain. It's the uncertainty that lies ahead for the lives that have been lost. It seems like they don't care. They feed us lies, make us choose between our brothers and friends. Sometimes anger and confusion fill this emptiness in my chest. All this uncertainty gives me unrest. Children are crying. Their parents aren't there. Someone else's problems have stolen people’s futures. All this fighting— it's not fair.
