UNBOUND
Tears fall like rain, my heart does ache A burden weighs me down, my soul at stake The weight of friendship, a heavy chain Binding me to pain, driving me insane Their words, a whispered knife, cutting deep Their actions, a constant test, my heart does weep I search for solace, a respite from the pain But like a mirage, it vanishes, leaving me in vain In the darkness, I wander, lost and alone Their presence, a constant reminder, I'm not home I yearn for peace, a haven from the storm But their friendship, a toxic form Yet, in the ashes, a spark remains A glimmer of hope, a light that sustains A chance to break free, to rise above the pain To find my strength, to love myself again I'll rise, I'll heal, I'll find my way Through the heartache, to a brighter day Their words, their actions, will no longer define My worth, my heart, my soul, will shine Hope revives, a new dawn breaks I'll walk alone, no longer fakes My heart, now free, will beat with glee A brighter tomorrow, awaits me.
