Unblissful Ignorance

Seeing but not perceiving Hearing but not understanding Not living but just existing Contrasting the notion Life is for the living Here, he comes possessed by oblivion Fully immersed in ignorance Consciously believing it is bliss while, in fact, it is a Mis- Prudence Thinking he's enlightened I pray he perceives that he's "Endarkened" The cure for ignorance Being Awareness But if he's seemingly beyond saving Life needs to give him some more beating And maybe he'll start perceiving But if not, it's all over Neither Lord Jesus can do the saving
