Umbrella Ela
I remember rainy days, The ones that feel like due, The moisture on the ground, That makes you feel subdued, The cold water falling, Hitting your face, Making you feel, Like you should stay in place, Grab the umbrella, Protect yourself from the rain, It's sad to think you can do that, But can't do it for pain, A girl named ela, Comes along, The rain falling down, Listening to a song, Walks up beside me, Looks at me and says, 'Your so dumb, And you got a big head, You don't carry an umbrella, You just stand there all wet, I bet your stupid or worse, You cant get laid I bet', The words of Ela hurt, But that's the wonder of it, She hands me an umbrella, And talks a little shit, The moral of the story, Is that you can't expect nice things, Even if it's just words, Or meeting Ela, In the rain
