typical days.
as i lay upon the grass, where i used to sit with you i ponder about the tenderness to the person i once knew troubling words imprisoned between the facets of my mind holds a sweeping ardor for a close friend of mine an utter of this vehemence ruins in the blink of an eye memories of us fading while you’re not by my side the conflict that stifles as my arrogance grows thick refusing to accept that i’m not the one you’ll pick we walk passed each other with not a hint of a smile hitting me harder than when we were being hostile the whispers strangling my neck as you snicker at things they say confirming how we were always distant in some kind of way as the years pass by, nothing has really changed remembering the friendship that i couldn’t maintain still holding the avidity that is yet to subside as i continuously try to put these feelings aside i wander down the hall again and catch you looking my way seeing the gaze of the person, once part of my typical days.
