Two Ducks On A Lake
Two ducks on a lake, one bright day, Crossed each other's path in a sudden way. Both misunderstood, both filled with dismay, They fought with fury, feathers in fray. They flapped their wings in a wild display, Shaking off the anger, letting it stray. The water rippled, carrying their fray away, Till peace returned, without delay. They quacked and drifted, no more in dismay, Calm and free, with no more to say. And when night fell, under moon’s soft ray, They slept soundly, dreams at bay.
