Two Broken Boats.
Two beautiful boats flowing through the ocean ever so beautifully, We glide through the treacherous waters with no fear We think the sharks can't hurt us but they do, We don't pay attention to these signals The tears on our sails add up one by one But we still stand strong smiling and enjoying our beautiful but flawed boat No one can hurt these precious boats right? Until they do. The sharks are starting to tear our boats apart We still fight with every ounce of strength in us Until we can't. Watching bits and pieces of plywood soar through the waters we are stuck in We close our eyes and hold hands Every breath we try and take is one minute less of our lives. We smile knowing that our journey has ended Yes we are drowning but we are drowning together And all that matters is that nothing can ever tear us apart.
