twilight drift
Water flows, the wind blows, Blades of grass swayed by rows. The clock is ticking to midnight, I hear the silence filled with crows. My eyes are open, ears I close, The amber horizon, to me it bows. I love it too much, Or hate it — who knows? Oh, relaxed from head to toes, Sleep comes and comes, Dreams come and goes, I am free from heavenly woes.
