Twilight
Gleams and glimmers. Every second is getting dimmer. They mimick what's muttered. This could be the last shutter. Down play a downfall. Wings would never flutter. Rock bottom no chatter out the gutter beaten battered. Haters state the matter. But a blessing shines the light. Quite a story to write despite the height that she fell, Oh darling, she's an Angel. No need to even tell. You can see it in those eyes. This is no story tale. Her name starts with a hey. Last name ends with a G. Caught me loving so deep. I put it in a poem to keep. Now that we're here, don't let it get dark. Yet to see the best parts. This is all where it starts. If it's life that's most precious. I offer you mine. Pray to God we can find. Ours soul beyond time. Cause the bind is bound. And even before it was bond. Paradox and double entends. In an infinite pond. Even when you're gone, I still know that you're there. So please don't ever be scared. Love is what is secured. Yet it has to be free. To be given away. I figure one day. We'll finally escape. Enjoy the journey it takes. Although we've made some mistakes. I'll see you at the gates. My heart and soul will await.
