Turn Back The Hands Of Time
If I Could Turn Back the Hands of Time In retrospect's introspective gaze, I ponder life's labyrinthine ways, And lament the opportunities lost, The chances missed, the dreams frost-bitten and crossed. If chronos' clock hands I could rewind, I'd rectify past mistakes, left behind, Correct the errors, straighten the bend, And chart a novel course to transcend. I'd rewrite the narrative of my past, With wisdom's hindsight, forever to last, Set deadlines for goals, once ambiguous and vague, And seize each moment, like a precious, fleeting page. I'd milk each second, squeezing out its essence, Doing the right thing, with diligence and persistence, No procrastination, no hesitation's weight, Just unwavering focus, an unrelenting slate. With temporal wisdom, I'd navigate life's maze, Avoiding pitfalls, sidestepping hazardous daze, And cultivate resilience, like tempered steel, To weather storms, and make my spirit unyield. If only time's river could flow backward still, I'd retrieve lost hours, wasted skill, And invest them wisely, with foresight's keen eye, To craft a masterpiece, before life's final sigh. Yet, even now, in this present moment's grasp, I vow to seize the day, and clasp, Each ticking second.
