Painful memories haunt me, a heavy weight to bear Feelings of isolation, no one seems to care Self-blame and guilt consume my mind A sense of being overwhelmed, no peace to find Sadness and pain, burdens too great to bear Confusion reigns, in this world unfair I stumble through the darkness, lost in my own maze Searching for a way out, through the haze But the weight of it all, pulls me down In this sea of emotions, I feel like I'll drown Yet through the chaos, a glimmer of light A hope that one day, I'll emerge from this plight For even in the darkest of nights There's always a chance, for a new day to ignite.
