I sat alone in contemplation, Finding essence of myself in variation It was quite the tumult in translation Here I'll depict the revelation: "Conscience" spoke the loudest of all, Upon deaf ears did his words fall His presence seemed oddly detrimental In a mind, no longer in his thrall Usurped by one called "Lust" Came forward to a standing ovation His evils all deemed just Mutiny became his inauguration Rebellion then took place As "Reason" tried to negotiate Allied with "Compassion" and "Grace" Lust sought to ally with "Hate" Yet the war of all could not negate, The reward of the one called "Faith"
