Truth Behind Words
If all I said were truths, Then nothing would be a lie. If all I said were truths, Then everything would have been fine. Or maybe not. Or maybe just a fraction. Or maybe just a little bit. If I shared my insecurities with my words of truths and not lies, They would have understood me a bit better. Or maybe less. If all I said were naked truths, Not covering any part. Would they have seen me for me? Oe would they have made fun if that 'me'. If I had said the truths, Would I have been another cruel being? Or another outcast for the sake of 'truths'. Should I have chosen the latter, The seemingly better option. 'A lie', And be an angel. A version of me I can't recognize, But is familiar to everyone. A 'me' I don't know, But people cherish and seem to love more than me.
