Trust instinct's
Trust, a fragile thing, now lost to me Shattered by the ones who were supposed to be My pillars of strength, my guiding light But their actions spoke louder, and destroyed the sight Incidents piled up, like autumn's leaves Each one a reminder of the trust that deceives I searched for solace, for a place to hide But even in my home, trust was forced to divide Now, I'm left with nothing, a hollowed space Where trust once dwelled, now an empty, haunted place I don't seek redemption, or a hero to save For in my world, trust is a luxury I can no longer crave There's nothing left to remind me of trust's gentle touch No memories to cherish, no love to clutch I'm not searching for a replacement, or a substitute for pain For in my heart, trust has been erased, like autumn's rain.
