Truly Desperation
I am a simp, calling each face a friend, Not knowing their true intentions "Friends this," "friends that," they claim, Yet blind to the hurt they inflict, the pain. They expect me to know their strengths and weaknesses But ignore mine, leaving me in bleakness. Why speak my feelings when words fall flat? They did nothing, leaving anger where love was at. Anger,Anger,Anger, what anger, I asked? Expressing feelings, labeled as anger Narcissist, unappreciative, uncaring Their judgment weighs, my emotions anew They said their words wouldn't affect my mind But negative comments linger, hard to unwind What would they do instead, to heal the scars? Left me wondering, forever lost in their far Two years gone, realizing I was alone Prioritizing others, my heart turned to stone Outgoing friends, I isolated myself Missing life, caring for those who didn't help A "backup" friend, that's all I was worth Dependent on one, losing many on this earth It's time to break free, stop caring for those Who don't care for me, and find new roads I should have listened when my parents said Your friends are your cousins, blood is ahead They stand by your side, through thick and thin, Even if they betray, their bond remains
