True Love Never Fades
Dedicated to L. Erasmus Inspired by 1 Corinthians 13:4–8 Love is patient — and so I waited, through silence, distance, and time’s quiet ache. Love is kind — and though hearts have drifted, I bless the memories we still make. It does not envy, it does not boast, it holds no record of wrongs we’ve sown. It weeps in secret, forgives the most, and finds its strength when left alone. Love rejoices not in pain or pride, but dances still in truth’s embrace. Even when paths no longer collide, its light remains, it leaves a trace. Though seasons change and hearts may roam, though words unsaid still haunt the air, true love endures — it finds its home, in prayers, in peace, in whispered care. For love bears all, believes, hopes, stays— beyond goodbye, beyond mistakes. And even now, through life’s displays, true love never fades.
