Tricolour Dreams
I see a piece of cloth Swaying in the dancing wind. Being a symbol of achievement, struggle and oath. It is the Tricolour Flag, The one which we struggled for, The one about which we brag. Years through our independent times, Times of doubt, pain, pride, disgust, We got all the emotions, All the feelings are prime. I dream of a nation, Which reminds me of the Tricolour, Courageous, fearless we stand as the saffron, Raising our voice against injustice, fighting for our rights, Protecting the morals of the country the country in which we were born. Peaceful and truthful like the white, We do anything to make our country the safest, Heaven on earth, with all our might, Fertility, growth and auspicious like the green, Our country grows to the top, best of the best, The best it has ever been. I dream of INDIA, A land which was once Looked upon by the world, For the slightest to the biggest, And still is shining, Like a moon on a cloudy day.
