Trauma
Trauma taking over my life of light, Shadows creeping in, day and night. The weight of memories, a heavy chain, Longing for freedom, but stuck in pain. Running away from fear, yet demons follow everywhere I hide, Echoes of the past, they whisper, "You'll never be free to reside." In every quiet moment, their shadows seem to grow, A constant reminder, my heart can't let go. Am I traumatized or just scared? The lines blur, my heart's impaired. Fear and trauma, intertwined and strong, A complex mix, where do I belong? In darkness or light my fear will never ignite, But in the shadows, it finds its might. Perhaps it's not the fear that needs to fade, But the power it holds, the grip it's made. I'm not just traumatized, I'm broken, battered, and amazed. By the strength I've found to carry on, Despite the weight that weighs me down so long. Fear or trauma I'll never go down, I'll rise above, wear my crown. I'll face the darkness, shine my light, And turn my struggles into strength and might.
