Transformed Love
A mere moment of innocence, where a chid sees everything as love, the love quickly turns into a hunger which drives us all, a hunger for power. However, a creature lurks, beneath the seas which the human concious floats on, It is unlike any animal, For it consumes no flesh and is made of none Yet it's very essence drives us all. The green essence of the healthiest of trees, Of the shiniest of gems, The desire to have what others do. As it consumes, the betrayable love becomes an evolving hate. The hatred brings difficult change, For better or for worse, Yet it prevails the tests of time regardless. The creature lived through a milennia, Sitting in the void of the sea, For it is the King of the seas.
