Tragic Truth
Tragedy clouds my mind, while frozen in place. As time ticks, I refuse to listen to the sound. The inevitable truth waits for my glance, but I refuse to look. This dilemma haunts me, yet I wear a smile. I pretend that I'm in control, but only asleep at the wheel. Fear is in control. A monster grown so immaculate, I can't bare to face it. Truth smothered in tragedy is the only foreseeable outcome. So I hide, I hide from the world.. Borrowing the days of darkness.
