Toxic , They say
They call me toxic—again, again, But all I ever gave was pain To myself, not them—I swear it's true, I broke my heart just loving you. I tried to care, to hold, to stay, But you twisted every word I'd say. Why does love feel like a crime? Why am I that emotion every time? I gave too much, I bled too deep, Now even silence doesn't sleep. Please, God, if love is just like this, Spare me the ache, the hit, the miss. I’m tired of proving I meant no harm, Of hugging with hands that lost their charm. Let me be light, not this disguise— Not the villain in someone else’s eyes.
