Touch.
I sit on the floor of my shower My skin torn and sore Blood running down the drain I sit and watch, drowsy. I breathe, the smell of you still lingers here. You linger I still feel you on my skin The more and more I scrub, ripping at my raw skin trying to get you off of me the more intense your presence is You're never going away You stained me The permanent red marks of when your hands have touched me burn My eyes burn. I can't tell if it's the feeling of your hand on my face or tears My body is aching, bleeding, sore. I sit still hoping you go away. Instead it becomes overwhelming, beginning to feel as if your body is pressed up against mine once more. It feels as if you're here again. I can feel your hands traveling down my body, and I freeze. Tears being washed off my face by the force of water, though my eyes still become puffy. I close my eyes. The longer my eyes are closed the more the memory of your hands feels like thousands of angry stinging insects. You tainted me. And that feeling keeps me here for hours.
