Torn Paper of My Love
Fragments flutter softly, whispering regrets, Memories etched in fragile layers of longing, Each crease a tale of laughter and sorrow, In a world where colors fade to muted gray. Pages once vibrant, now worn and tattered, Ink spilled like heartbeats on a canvas frayed, Words once vibrant now scatter like leaves, Lost in the winds of time and remembrance. We wrote our story on the backs of stars, Each line a promise, each strophe a sigh, Now, silence fills the void, echoing softly, A symphony of what was, now only dust. Time spun its web, delicate yet cruel, Weaving in shadows, unraveling dreams, Love’s soft embrace, a fragile illusion, Dissolved in tears, smothered by doubts. With every torn corner, memories bleed, Images fading like photographs, Haunting reflections of what we cherished, Once golden moments now trapped in dusk. Your laughter lingers, a ghostly refrain, Dance through my mind like a flickering flame, But each gesture of love now slips through hands, Turning to ashes, unyielding and cold. I gather the shreds, piecing together, In hopes that fragments will tell the whole.
