Torn Memories-Shant Sagar
Fragile whispers caught in tangled seams, Just as autumn leaves dance with the wind, Scattered remnants of stories yet untold, Crisp edges frayed by moments long gone. Once a tapestry of vibrant laughter, Now a collage of ink-stained confessions, Each tear a lament in the silent night, Echoes of joy now buried in shadows. I reach for the pieces, warm from memory, Fingertips tracing the ghosts of our smiles, Mapping heartache etched in paper's skin, Finding solace in the fragments we left. Time's cruel hands have weathered pages, Turning hopes into ashes, dreams into dust, Beneath scrim of soft, rumpled thoughts, A flicker remains, defiant and bold. We wrote in colors that danced like the sun, Where love stitched the seams tight, But seasons shifted as hearts grew weary, Until all we cherished unraveled too soon. The parchment crumbles beneath burden, Tears mix with ink, we mourn what we lost, Yet still I gather the shreds of our past, Each piece holds a whisper of truth. Storms may rage and shadows may linger, Faded fragments still pulse with our fire, And in every tear lies a quiet resolve, A testament to love that refuses to die. Shrawan Kumar
