Torment
What holds me back inside, it's my burden that I chose to hide. Left are the secrets of my heart, the pain that always tears me apart. Is it the parasite that kills the host, or the memories that hurt the most. The pain is hidden in plain sight, waiting for someone to turn on the light. Eyes half closes as the pain slips through, the dark red blood shows the thoughts that brewed. My mind shuts down for the final moment, lost forever in my never ending torment.
