Too Early
A journey to the edge of the universe, or really, a simple shuffle to the edge of the bed. Tired eyes and a reminding discomfort, sculpted, from the warmth and quiet being left in your wake. It'll be missed. Being tangled, trapped, pulled down and drowned by the stuffed, woven, polyester pouch of a cover. Overspread and concealing. Like a cloud, clouding. The sunbeams seeking a peek through, but shhhh... Entertain that thought of turning back. Giving up on a day, that has not yet started.
