TOO BUSY

Last night I stood and watched the moon roll by Wondering if it happened to catch my eye The moon probably too busy for the likes of me Has far more interesting people they want to see After the moon decided to go for a little walk Revellers from nightclubs not stopping to talk Obviously far too busy with the likes of me Intent on going home if they can find their key I stopped by the riverside resting my aching feet Forty minutes walking activity had left me beat The water I noticed too busy for the likes of me More concerned going downstream by the tree Five am now decided it was time that I must go Thanks moon, water and revellers for the show I am too busy now and headed for my bed Too much excitement for me it has to be said
